Case Study: Dip Coater Hot Plate Combo

This was a special request for a customized instrument with a delivery time of 10 days. The client’s need was for a Dip Coater with attached Hot Plate. Their aim for this requirement was to carry out the dip coating procedure within a controlled environment with respect to the temperature. As the solution had to be kept at a particular temperature
while the target object was being coated. Following are the specifications of the instrument:

Hot Plate Dip Coating Instrument

This is not unusual in coating processes as there are many experiments which involve multiple environment controls in order to get that fine coating over the target. Following are a few examples of parameters in coating:

  1. Temperature (of solution or/and the target)
  2. Humidity
  3. Vacuum
  4. Choice of environmental gas (Purging after vacuum process)
  5. Dynamic mixing of solution (For eg. Stirring)
